American Robins caught in a Snow Storm

The robins who migrate here in the spring that travel from the warmer southern states were not thrilled to see a snow storm April 11, 2019. Needless to say, they couldn't dig for worms under the snow but they found small crab apples that had fallen from the tree to eat in the meanwhile until the snow melted. They were fluffing their feathers to keep warm. This year there were not that many worms to dig because of dry weather and I saw some of the robins eating suet on our bird feeder because of the shortage of worms and insects. I shot this picture through two window panes of the robins in our back yard who were braving the weather.
