Amicalola Falls in the Fall

Amicalola Falls is a 729 foot waterfall on Springer Mountain in the Dawsonville, Georgia area. The main part of the spectacular waterfall is 429 feet. The falls are located in Amicalola Falls State Park which derives its name from a Cherokee language meaning "tumbling waters". Fall of the year provides a colorful backdrop to the falls as the leaves change into vivid colors.
