17th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Among the daffodils
A good friend of mine called me to let me know this owlet fledged. I immediately drove 8 hours and witnessed this darling owlet on his 2nd day out of the nest exploring his new world. The owlet took a fancy to flowerbeds.
