AMONG THE PINCUSHIONS: False Everlasting 'Phaenocoma prolifera'

The western Cape is home to the worlds most diverse floral kingdom (over 8500 different plant species). Pringle Bay is part of a UNESCO Biosphere reserve. This Floral Kingdom has 1,300 species per 10,000 square kilometres. Larger than the Amazon basin with just 400 species per 10,000 square km!
