Amtrak crossing the Oregon-California border
The best place to be in a long-range train ride is the observation car, if they have one. This multiple-shot collage shows the Amtrak train on its way from Seattle to San Diego. A week later this same train was stuck overnight by snow in the high mountains between Oregon and California.
