As a fan of Naturalist and Writer Gerald Durrell, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting his zoological park, which he established in 1959 on the island of Jersey in the English Channel. I enjoyed seeing the work of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and the Durrell legacy of ensuring the preservation of endangered species. It was a real treat to see an Andean Bear up close, and I really enjoyed capturing his relaxed pose!
