An eagle and an eel

A bald eagle carries an eel in its talons as it prepares to stop by and feast on an electrical transmission tower at the Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River in northeastern Maryland, USA. Scores of bald eagles converge at the dam site during Fall. When water is released from the dam, the majestic birds scramble for fish some of which are disoriented after tumbling through the turbines used for electric power generation
