An Early Morning Swim
The sun had not yet risen over the Corixo Negro in the Pantanal. The early morning mist was dense, and the water was calm. The whole scene was eerie yet strangely serene. There were no noises, no movements. All of a sudden a caiman swam across the river leaving a white trail behind him. This was the element that was missing seconds earlier. It made the whole scene more dynamic as if the Corixo Negro suddenly came to life. I took the shot.
