13th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
An evening in the Mara
We were on our way back to camp trying to get there before nightfall. It had rained all day and the road was very muddy and slippery. A few minutes before the sun disappeared the sky lit up with a bright orange color partially reflected by the water on the ground.
