A summer evening stroll in Tuscany, from one of San Martino alla Palma's only two restaurants, back to our rented villa in Scandicci, near Florence, Italy. My wife and I, having finished our evening meal, traversed down a remote rural trail. It was around 9.30pm but the trail was well lit by artificial light - a necessity to help protect locals and tourist pedestrians from tripping on the uneven, unsealed pathway. The canopy of trees and the lighting formed a perfect visual tunnel that framed my wife's silhouette, and perfectly captured the ambience of that balmy summer evening.
