We hop onto Brundage Mountain's ski lift, excited to see one of many sculptures created by artists for Mc Call's annual ice sculpture competition. This train car intermittently emits steam from its stack. A real conductor welcomes visitors' aboard to enjoy a panoramic view. It's hard to image that artists endure days of freezing weather to build from big ice blocks, knowing their works are temporary.
