An inside corridor at Fort Macon
Fort Macon in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina was originally constructed to fend off incoming ships during the Civil War. The fort, built out of brick and earth, is full of damp corridors. Standing at the end of one, you can see through all the archways to the end of the building.
