This is a ground-level shot of an abandoned building in the mining town of Darwin, CA. The original shot was rather pedestrian, but had an interesting composition and feeling of movement. So, I decided to strip the color out through desaturation, and then sloly and specifically added color back into the image. I also manipulated the sharpness and local contrast to a fairly high degree.
