An old fashioned train passing an ornate still subway car, now a restaurant
On the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, a northbound Amtrak Train heading from New Haven, CT to Springfield, MA heads away from me while passing a former Philadelphia Subway Car, now home to a delicious italian restaurant in Wallingford, CT. The Wallingford passenger rail depot is located about a mile up the road from where I took this picture. By the middle to end of the decade of the 2020s, the equipment that is being used on the Amtrak train will be joining the former Philadelphia Subway Car, on left, in the retirement club.
