This photo was taken at a trout farm which is located close to Rutland Water where there is a dedicated Osprey program which monitors these amazing birds. The Ospreys poach fish from the farm and the owners have worked alongside the program by setting up a hide for photographers to capture these birds diving and fishing. This photo was taken a few weeks before they migrate south to Africa for the winter, they then return in the spring to the same place.
