While hiking in the airport marsh on Dauphin Island, AL we came upon an osprey trying to feed her young and keep them from blowing out of the nest despite the strong gusty winds. We have several photos, one with the chick looking right at us, another with the parent staring at us. We finally left them alone, not wanting them to be disturbed by us.
