An owl sitting in an ash tree in autumn at dusk.

This is a picture of an ash tree in our backyard that has been hit by the ash borer. On a lovely autumn evening, I heard an owl in our backyard. When I saw it was perched in our ash tree, I ran for the camera and the light was just magnificent. I know you really have to look to see the owl but that's what makes this photo so eery.
