21st Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World

As the Cayman grabbed the passing by Anaconda's tail, it coiled around the croc's neck trying to strangle the adversary. In around 40 minutes the Cayman began to suffocate so it went under the water (keeping its nose on the water surface, the Anaconda being completely under the water) and in another 5 minutes the snake had to release him for being able to breath on its turn.
