The story here is simple. I was visiting Mammoth Hot Springs. I wanted to get there for warm golden hour light and was nit disappointed. While taking the standard tourist shots, I happened to notice this wonderful formation of extreme contrast. I loved textures and shapes and the millenia of history present in them.
