Anna e Paulinha

These two women are sisters who run their "horta" (garden) together with their father. All of the vegetables grown here are organic, and are either sold at markets or distributed to local schools so that the kids can eat healthy food. The garden is located at the "quilombo" which is a community that was formed generations ago by Brazilian slaves in colonial times. Their dog watches on as the two women work hard all day long in the fields on top of a mountain overlooking a beautiful landscape.
