This little female Anna's hummingbird has taken over our back yard. She fiercely defends her territory from other hummingbirds (even males), butterflies, the dog, etc. She's not shy at all so it is fun to photograph her...I've taken hundreds of hummingbird pictures over the years and this one may be my favorite.
