Another day on the job
My girlfriend and I woke up at 4:30 on a sizzling day in Agra. We'd been told the Taj Mahal doesn't live up to its name. However, upon our entry and being the only people there we found the magic of the place overwhelming. As we came back around to the front of the mausoleum the Taj Mahal guards were starting their duty in what would be a day of 46 degree heat. This picture captures how their everyday routine amidst such an iconic structure has become a casual place to have a morning chat.
