While traveling through the Florida Keys, I spotted the two palms, well-balanced with the small, distant keys, and noted the contrast between the sky and palms on the one hand and the clouds, whitewashed trunks, and coral-based cement of he sidewalk. I selected a short telephoto lens and a polarizing filter and waited...The bicycle-riding couple happened along, and I was fortunate to capture them balanced around the palm on the right against the two distant keys balanced around the palm on the left. The color, background, and activity all telegraph "fun in the sun".
