Antarctica IV Adelie Penquins in Line, Antarctic Peninsula
This image was taken from the vantage of a Zodiac vessel near the shore of Paulet Island in the northern Weddell Sea. Adelie penguins are lined up, one behind the other as they wait to enter the water. They seemed patient, yet just a little pushy. The penguin hesitating at the front of the line finally was pushed in the water and the line quickly followed! I admired the composition of the line of penguins on the rocky ledge sloping into the sea.
