This is an image of an Adelie penguin colony on island near the Antarctic Sound. Here, though small to the camera’s eye, there are thousands and thousands of breeding penguins to observe. Photo was taken from a Zodiac vessel anchored a ways out from shore as to not disturb the everyday life of the penguins.
