Anxiety in the streets

This self portrait has multiple interpretations. The main idea was to represent the side effects of an antidepressant: numbness. The image portrays how that makes me feel when I'm out in the street, for example on my way to work. On the other hand, this photo also represents social anxiety and mysophobia. These mental health problems have really increased in intensity for me because of the pandemic.
