Anything to Capture that Photo
I was on a tour of the amazing Death Valley National Park, and our bus stopped at a rugged place called "the devil's golf course." It is an immense area of rock salt eroded by wind and rain into jagged knee-high spires. Supposedly it got its name from someone who said that "only the devil could play golf on such rough links." As I got out of the bus, I saw this photographer and his tripod in the distance. He had climbed over the rough, sharp, uneven ground, risking life and limb to capture the perfect shot.
