I had picked these apples, pears and walnuts in an orchard in Northern France. I was overwhelmed by the simple natural abundance. I attempted to do justice to this by arranging my spoils in the manner of 17th-century Dutch Masters still life paintings. Sortakinda. All very quick and dirty. No pro’s here. Fruitier than most though.
