The Arabian Oryx was hunted to extinction in the wild and subsequently reintroduced from captive stock. The Telal Desert Resort, where I was invited to photograph, had a 60 mi x 60 mi fenced reserve for desert impala and oryx. I was given a private safari drive in the early evening to sunset.
