20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Arches of Qutub Complex & Qutub Minar in New Delhi, India

A collection of monuments constructed on ruins of Lal Kot by the Delhi Sultanate, which housed twenty-seven Hindu and Jain temples from the (Anangpal) Tomar Dynasty. A part of this complex includes Qutub Minar, a minaret which serves as a popular destination and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.
