Arrangement of diatoms, 1.5 mm in diameter under the microscope.
The photo is a microscopic image of an arrangement of diatoms. These algae provide 20% of worlds oxygen and are very beautiful despite their miniscule size. I just had to try arranging them microscopically which is an old artform. This is the result.
