For 3 years I wanted to start rehearsing and learning to photograph birds with this technique, seeking to highlight the movement and art that is in their flight and in general, in the nature that surrounds us. This photograph was taken in Medellín, in the midst of a pandemic, on the edge of a lake where these herons come to sleep. I had already seen that this yellow light from sunset got between the trees and with the green reflection the grass formed these yellow reflections on the water. Many afternoons it rained or the sun did not shine to create these reflections, on other occasions the heron did not pass through that light to achieve the scene that it had already imagined and planned from before. For this reason, this photograph, is a reward for the patience and passion that I have for nature photography. It was October 10, 2020, a Saturday afternoon and all the conditions were met. A white heron was flying towards the reflection, it passed through that light and I was able to take the photograph that I had imagined and rehearsed for so long.
