Art Deco Wonder

Cities grow and change like living organisms. "Hecht's" means little to the young people living in the new condos in this converted warehouse. However, Hecht's was one of Washington, DC's most successful department stores for seventy years until being bought by Macy's. This warehouse is a masterpiece of modern architecture given new life by the demand for housing in a newly flourishing housing market.
