ARTIST AT THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM

An artist at the Metropolitan Museum of Art recreating a Rembrandt self portrait. The great Dutch artist painted the original in 1660 when he was 54 years old. Many have noted that the painting displays "the wrinkled brow and the worried expression signifying the troubled condition of his mind". This painting has been displayed at the Met since 1913.
