My father and I both shared a passion for photography. We had our favorite spot in St. Joseph, Michigan where we always took photos of the lighthouse. This past June my father passed away, and while I was at our family summer home, I took a walk along the beach to take some photos. As the waves crashed onto the pier I caught the lighthouse peaking through the water.
