As unique as a Variegated Squirrel
This Wild Variegated Squirrel was spotted eating a nut casually in a tree by the beach in Cahuita. Squirrels are a bit different in Costa Rica and usually have 2 distinct colors rather than 1 uniform. They are also not so frequent and this is the first and last time I had the chance to spot one over my trip.
