"Ash pazoon"
This is a traditional and religious ceremony to give away food to any stranger. The whole process of preparing and distributing the food is shared between volunteers and donors. It's done as a good deed and a virtue. The pots are fired at night and the cooing takes all night. The volunteers would take turns to steer the pot, making sure it won't stick to the bottom, and it's believed that helping to do so would bring them good karma.
