At a glance, Water Scarcity Survival

Water peril as world warms. The picture depicts two ways, scarce of fresh water and desalination of seawater. Global warming is expected to account for about 20 percent of the global increase in water scarcity . Global water consumption increased many folds in the last century almost more than twice the rate of population growth.. It will continue growing rapidly in coming decades. Water and populations are unevenly distributed across the globe and our existing freshwater resources are under heavy threat from overexploitation, pollution, and global warming. Possible measures could be shorten water rations, increase water storage and desalination of seawater.
