We almost didn’t come here.   There was a polar bear in the area and our polar bear guard didn’t want another night in the cold.  The questionable weather in the forecast was casting doubt on our ability to get back to the main city for our journey home But we opted to protect ourselves and take our chances.  We camped among the glacial moraines at the end of a fjord in a place that felt like the literal end of the world.
