18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Atlantic Puffin making amends in Newfoundland, Canada.
After waiting all day for puffins to land onshore, I was finally rewarded when it stopped raining and a small group landed close to me. This Puffin picked an Iris and walked over proudly showing off the gift for his mate.
