I was on a small ship trip to visit wild and ancient places in Britain. On this particular day, we were visiting Staffa Island. It was raining on-and-off. Once landing, we had to climb a steep staircase and then walk through mud and over rocks and hills to get to the puffin colony. I set up my tripod in the most sheltered area I could find with a good view of the colony.
