I was hiking along the canyon on the outskirts of Sedona, AZ when this guy appeared on the trail. He posed patiently for the longest time while I clicked and clicked trying to give his stature justice. I love how the camera gives nature a pause so that we can discover and enjoy the color, beauty, and balance of life that we otherwise might not notice. Who knew a lizard belly could be turquoise blue?
