Aurora over the Kirkjufell Mountain

Kirkjufell is another famous spot to see in Iceland. Its basically crowded all day and night during the whole year. Its the only place in Iceland that we decided to spend few nights in the hotel just to have an opportunity to have a nice sunrise, sunset and northern lights photos! But the mountain was moody and it was always cloudy during the certain time of the day. We checked it all the time. The night when the KP was stronger then ever (7) it was also cloudy, so we decided to go to the south of the peninsula ( the sky was clear there and it was the best Aurora show in my life). On the way back, after few hours of photoshooting, we decided to pass the mountain again and try our luck. Guess what - nobody was there (they didn't have strong hope as me) and the sky opened for some minutes.I frozed to death but it was worth it. At 2am our adventure fihished.
