Autumn colors on the Lewis River in Washington

The Lewis River is part of the watershed for Mt. Adams in Washington. In spring the water flow is heavy and hides the fall's features while in the summer the falls are populated with swimmers, but there is a window in autumn where the water flow is low, the colors begin to come out and campers have gone for the year. Ideal!
