Autumn descends upon Central Park
The maples are among the first trees to change color in the autumn. Their brilliant red hues provide quite the opening performance to autumn. Here, I spotted a lone maple that stood out like a flame amongst abundant greenery. Although the tree was not large, its brilliance magnified its size, seemingly "towering" over the hill observed in the background.
