20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Autumn Flow
Reflections and swirling leaves along the Chicago River. I love the natural areas hidden in the city, little pockets of nature where we can go to recharge. This was taken in one of the forest preserves inside the city limits, this area is also an important spot for migrating birds.
