The cypress swamps found in the deep south of U.S. are a sight to behold, especially during the fall. I had traveled for 36 hours from Australia to get to this swamp in Texas just to photograph these trees. On this very cold morning, right before the sun was rising, I took the opportunity to photograph my companion kayaking among the giant trees.
