I had a three-day weekend so I decided to venture up to the Enchantment lakes on the first weekend that does not require a backpacking permit. I made it up to Lake Viviane and set up my tent. I had trouble staying asleep as the night was cold and windy. I was up early enough to eat breakfast and prepare to shoot the sunrise. In the midground below are the Snow Lakes. Golden larches make up the foreground.
