Autumn wildflowers
I shot this on the Pawtuxet River in Rhode Island on an overcast October day. The soft light gave the scene a quiet, tranquil feel you can't get on sunny days. That these blossoms would soon be gone as winter closed in added a slight sense of melancholy to the afternoon.
