My fiancé and I visited the Frederick Meijer Gardens on a long weekend in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We were surprised to stumble upon a Japanese garden that transported us back to a trip we took to Japan in 2018. The gardens sat around a large pond and were both authentic and serene. The memories paired with the fall foliage made for a magical, rainy, fall day of meandering and exploring. This photo is a shot of one of the bridges within the garden.
